Why shouldn’t you choose Harvard Business School for an MBA?

The educational system has now been distorted into a mere Certification Industry all over the world! Big brand names in the name of quality education, gigantic infrastructure, and colossal corporate ties cost you your life savings. Obtaining a trademark title has become a ritual in our society. Beyond the shadow of any disbelief, a branded MBA degree brings you so many benefits like a prepared resume, access to better jobs, the opportunity to build a better network, often post-job promotions, and most of all, It puts you in the spotlight, especially if none of your Kiths & Kins come from the equally prestigious and branded business school you hail from.

There is always the temptation to buy more degrees, certifications, or anything else that will give you more “prestige” and make you appear more qualified. But does getting a brand title do it all? What is to be trusted, on a book cover or inside, matters! Should a student goal be conferred just to gain admission to the most famous and top Business School like Harvard which cuts your pocket by $150K or more, or to be a good potential business manager? And yes, business school is different and much more than just another certification.

Going to a top MBA program helps. It can bridge the gap between you and former investment bankers from the fat category, but that alone won’t do the trick. This decision should be quite smart. Yes, although this is something like estimating the number of mangoes before you start planting. But definitely, this is an Einsteinian calculation, since you could be burning your hands with numerous dollars. This sounds like a long-term investment plan that could put you in debt for a period longer than your harvest.

The reality is that people take business school like Harvard as a magic bullet, a way to get into finance when all else has failed or when you normally don’t have a chance. Parents want their dear son to get a Harvard MBA label, so they never fluctuate to pay anything, but the truth is, if he tries to make a pig sing, he will just waste his time and get angry! An MBA program from a top B school can help, but it won’t level the playing field.

The wise and resourceful brain must think and assess the fruits and lumps before decomposition buys dollars on the Harvard label like “A pint of sweat saves a gallon of blood.”
