4 Slice Toaster Pros and Cons

It is generally believed that the days of two-slice toasters are over. 4-slice toasters ushered in a new era of convenient home keeping. By practical, I know what I mean as what could be more practical than a small kitchen gadget that serves you well in the morning when an alarm can barely wake you up to prepare a nice breakfast for your family?

So, let’s consider the pros and cons of a 4-slice toaster.

Advantages:

1. To make four toasts in a two-slice toaster you have to do it in several toasts. This definitely requires twice the power that a 4-slice unit would expend to do the same thing. Thus, having the latter in the kitchen will definitely keep you “green” and also save a few dollars on your electricity bills.

2. Another advantage that is related to the first is a definite economy of time. By putting four slices of bread in a toaster at once, you’ll be pleased with the quick results you get. Especially if you are very hungry and almost late for your work.

3. Of course, the largest toasters are a must for a large family. They provide an excellent opportunity to quickly feed all members of your family. Alternatively, these kitchen gadgets will be enjoyed by those who think that a breakfast of two toasts is not enough for their hungry stomach.

4. Modern toasters come with additional features. These little workstations will provide you with a quick breakfast, adding it with eggs, muffins, waffles, or whatever kind of bonus you choose when you buy one of them.

5. Most modern 4-slice toasters look great. They are perfectly crafted to suit your kitchen and the latest design standards. Although this is not the most important advantage (it is not for nothing that I put it last), it will surely help you make the right choice.

cons

1. 4-slice toasters are generally cheaper than 2-slice toasters. Despite the variety of its functions, it remains its main disadvantage, although some would not take it into consideration. However, nowadays you can find the units that cost around $25-30, which is about as little as the price of a 2-slice toaster. But, of course, they lack some functions and are the simplest.

2. Designed to toast four slices of bread at a time, most of these toasters require more countertop space than smaller ones. And if the table is already littered with household appliances, this definitely matters.

That being said, 4-slice toasters really do have more pros than cons, but the final decision is up to you.
