If you’re looking for more action and adventure, there’s skydiving and seaplane tours. Or take the Segway and explore the boardwalk. Surf in Half Moon Bay and in the beach communities. Drive down Highway 1 and choose your own beach town for a relaxing day trip from San Francisco.

If shopping is what you’re after, then Union Square is the place to be. You’ll find contemporary art galleries alongside Asian art and jewelry made by renowned artists.
