An Honest Third Party USANA Review!

First I want to let you know that I am not associated with USANA Health Science. The purpose of this USANA review is to share my thoughts and experiences that may help you as you consider the USANA business opportunity.

As a partner in two failed MLM companies (one in 1996 and the other in 2001), I want to spare you the embarrassment and embarrassment of not only family and friends, but also your self-esteem. Not to mention losing any investment you may have made in the process. From my experience there was a very important lesson learned.

The lesson learned is easily overlooked when someone is researching MLM opportunities. We tend to focus on things like “How much money can I make?” and “How fast can I do it with the least amount of effort?”. In other words, we allow ourselves to be quickly sucked into the money hype so that all our money problems are solved forever, while we are lying on the couch watching our favorite TV show.

The lesson I’m referring to is more important than any product, marketing, or compensation plan offered by any MLM company. One of the first steps while researching an MLM opportunity is to make sure you do your homework and study your Leadership. Spend some time on the Better Business office website, checking out the complaints and how the company resolved disputes. You may also want to check to see if any members have a history of criminal activity. With the open records law, check online for services that will provide searches for the individuals in question. Some services require a small fee, but what’s a few bucks when you’re looking to invest millions, if not thousands, in an opportunity? You must approach this process with an objective and open mind. If you only search organizations through normal search engine sites, you are guaranteed to find more negative information than positive. Especially when you’re researching established MLM companies that have been in business for several years or decades.

Strong leadership will be visionary, passionate, and charitable, with a track record of achievement and integrity. With that in mind, I discovered the following information about USANA’s founder, Dr. Myron Wentz.

Myron Wentz was born in 1940, the youngest of 3 children to parents of German descent. He grew up in a modest loving environment in Napoleon, North Dakota. At age 17 his father died of heart disease and several years ago his mother died of cancer. After witnessing the untimely deaths of several members of his family from both sides of his family, Dr. Wentz made it his life’s mission to conquer degenerative disease. Since then, he has become a recognized microbiologist and immunologist with degrees in the following:

BS in Biology (North Central College Naperville Illinois)

MS in Microbiology (University of North Dakota)

PHD Microbiology and Immunology (University of Utah)

In 1974, Dr. Myron Wentz himself launched Gull Laboratories, and in 1977 the FDA approved several of his viral diagnostic assays that were later marketed in clinical laboratories and hospitals. In 1992, Dr. Wentz sold his interest in Gull Industries and founded what is now USANA Health Sciences. Since USANA’s founding, Dr. Myron Wentz and company have compiled an impressive list of accomplishments. A brief summary of some of the achievements are as follows:

From modest beginnings in 1992, it surpassed $350 million in sales in 2006.

In 2006 paid over $800 million in associate commissions

BY 2009, the million dollar club grows to more than 130 members

Medical centers created in Uganda and Cambodia to help children orphaned by malaria and HIV

Sanoviv Medical Institute created in Baja California

· Dr. Myron Wentz is recognized through presidential appointment as advisor to the Small Business Administration

· 2007 Dr. Myron Wentz is honored with the Albert Einstein Award for Outstanding Achievement in Life Sciences.

Anyone researching a USANA business opportunity can see from this USANA review that Dr. Myron Wentz and USANA are a solid business choice. However, there is a big problem. Most MLM programs teach their associates the old school way of recruiting people for their business. Make a list of everyone you know and go hunting for them.
