Ten signs that deceased loved ones give to let us know they are near

After our loved ones cross over, they are very eager to let us know that they are okay and that they are aware of what is happening in our lives. If we are not able to feel them around us, they will often give us signals that we cannot ignore. The person to whom the signal is given generally knows that they are receiving a message from the other side. I always tell my clients that they don’t have to look for signals, the signals will come to them.

The signals that our loved ones most often give us are:

They come like an animal. Our loved ones can use their energy to enter an animal, such as a butterfly, ladybug, bird, or dragonfly, for a short period of time. The animal does something that it would not normally do, such as landing on us, pecking at our window, yelling at us, etc.

They place common objects such as feathers, coins, or stones in our path. Our loved ones like to place things that were important to them over and over again in our path. Clients have come to me who have had jars full of pens, coins and objects that they have found in the most unusual places.

They give off fragrances. We can often tell that our deceased loved ones are around us when we smell their perfume, flowers, cigar or cigarette smoke, or whatever other familiar scent they may have. Usually there is no logical explanation for why the smell is there.

They make the songs sound at the perfect time. We know that they are present when your favorite songs sound at the right time with the exact words we need to hear. Often the same song is played in many different places.

They come to us in dreams. One of the easiest ways for them to reach us is in our dreams. All we have to do is ask them to come, and they will. However, we must ask them to wake us up after they arrive, or else we will not remember the dream. A dream that is a true visitation will be very peaceful and we will know that it is truly our loved one. We will remember these types of dreams in detail many years later. (On the other hand, a subconscious dream can be scary or feel bad. This type of dream is not that of your loved one.)

They show us the same numbers over and over. They loved giving us numbers that are relevant to them or you, like birth dates, anniversaries, or repeating numbers, like 1111, 2222, 3333, etc. These numbers can appear on clocks, billboards, or any other familiar place.

They allow us to feel at peace for no reason. When our loved ones are in the room, they generally make us feel loved and at peace. It usually happens at the most unprepared moment, so there is no logical explanation for our sudden bliss.

They put thoughts in our head. Because in spiritual form, our loved ones do not have an audible voice. Therefore, they transmit messages to us telepathically. Pay attention to the thoughts that just “pop up” in your head. We can tell the difference between our thoughts and theirs by going backwards. If you can find the thought that triggered your loved one’s thought, it is probably their thought. If something your loved one would say just pops up in your head for no reason, he or she is probably speaking directly to you.

They love to play with electricity. They turn the electricity on and off. They like to blink lights, turn television and radio on and off, and make appliances ring for no apparent reason.

They make ringing in our ears. Because our loved ones speak to us at a different and higher frequency, we may hear a ringing in our ears when they try to get our attention. This is a sign that you should listen to what they are saying.

The list can go on and on, but these are the most common ways they inform us of their presence. If you haven’t received any of these signals, simply ask your loved ones to come to you to let you know that they are okay. Tell them to come to you in a dream and wake you up after the dream. The more aware you are of the messages that are being given to you, the more they will let you know that they are present. Be patient and persistent, and I promise you they will give you the signs you’ve always wanted. They really are fine and they want you to be too!
