Facial lotion with coenzyme Q10 to reduce age spots

If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably already had that “Aha” moment when you realize you’re not as young as you used to be. Mine came the day I realized that the freckles I had always had on my hands seemed more pronounced and could even be considered… AGE SPOTS! Trust me, the search was on. I wanted a product that would remove them and fast. What I learned, however, is that age spot reducing face lotions are not all the same. Some are ineffective; some actually made my skin uncomfortable and only the natural products i tried provided the results i was looking for.

Where do these horrible age spots come from?

Once I got over the initial shock of having something called “liver spots,” I did some research to see why I had them and what I could do about it. I hadn’t realized that the melanin in our skin that produces pigment also produces excess pigment when stimulated by the sun. Over time, these spots of increased pigment become permanent and form these brown spots.

The hands are often the location for these signs of aging because we rarely cover our hands, even when the rest of our body is covered. When I put on my sunscreen to go to the beach, I never really thought about putting it on my hands too. Now that I am trying to reduce the production of age spots, I think about it!

What can I do with them?

As I was telling you before, I really hate these stains and I was willing to try anything to get rid of them. I was so sick of having hands and cheeks that looked like my grandmother’s and was in the market for a good face lotion to reduce age spots.

The first product I tried contained hydroquinone, which is a chemical skin lightener. The package promised real results and seemed like a good choice. I started using it and noticed a little difference in a week or two, but that was it. My skin really didn’t look any younger and the darkness returned.

I quickly realized that a topical remedy was not going to make them go away, and I also learned that the active ingredient in the lotion I chose could also be very harmful! Go back to the store for another cream to reduce age spots.

The next product I tried was based on an exfoliant to reduce age spots, but it was too harsh and my skin became very irritated. I guess I was trying to erase my brown spots, but I had to use another product to stick with that one and try to counteract the effects of the peel. My skin didn’t look any better and actually felt worse than before.

The only effective age spot reducer:

I finally found a natural product that gave me the age spot reduction results I was looking for, without irritating my skin or using dangerous ingredients. It turns out that the best product to reduce the appearance of age spots would work from the inside out, not the outside in. By inhibiting the production of melanin, this age spot reducer made the spots lighter and less noticeable. Combined with a good sunscreen (every day), the active ingredient coenzyme Q10 made a big difference for my skin.
